Where to eat: Amazing new sushi spot in the East Village!!! I still get a
kick out of the name lol, but FU Sushi is official. It was recently ranked
#4 by Citysearch for the Best New York Sushi spots in the city. For all
my LA fam, they even have soy paper upon request…which is extremely
hard to find in NYC.

What to eat: Salmon Lover special, Spicy Crunchy Tuna roll.

With Spring just around the corner, we now have lookbook images of the upcoming line for the
season. As always, Burberry will release casual contemporary looks that include everything from
sweaters, polos, tops, jackets, denim, coats, and more. Bags are also in the lineup as a few other
accessories as well.

Where to go: While in Los Angeles, I strongly recommend you try this restaurant! The food is amazing, but it’s definitely a vegetarian eater’s worst nightmare. Every dish we had was delicious, but I have to admit I would rather NOT know which part of the Animal is actually being used. The presentation definitely distracted me from what I was consuming, so if you get a bit squeamish when reading the menu selections, just ask the waitstaff for their recommendations!

What to eat: Oxtail Poutine, Pork Belly Sliders, Veal Sweetbreads, Flat Iron Steak and Joe’s Doughnuts in caramel sauce. My friends rave about the: Balsamic ribs, Fried Pig Ear and Choco-Bacon crunch for dessert. I’ll definitely be going back!!

I had the pleasure of sitting and chatting with former magazine and fashion stylist Khirma Eliazov while in LA last week…Her line of luxury handbags is a little under a year old and has already been selected as one of “four buzzworthy entrants into the world of accessories” by WWD in April, 2009.

The collection of handbags are truly statement pieces!! The line uses a combination of luxurious and sometimes unusual exotic skins, including python and chagrin (stingray) together with the finest Italian leather. Her signature purple linings, originally designed hardware and attention to design detail is also apparent in the hand-woven handles.

We’re still in a recession….so i’m not mad at these Alexander Wang “inspired” silhouettes by Jeffrey Campbell and DV. I really hate the word “knock-off” but we may have to just call it what it is!! Although I have to admit that I’ve been a huge fan of Dolce Vita since they first launched their line. Plus, I can live with these price points.

Loving both of these blazers…the leather can definitely go day to night, while the sequins are just a perfect way to dress up some great denim! Both available at one of my favorite lower east side boutiques: Pixie Market.

I love the detailing throughout this Japanese streetwear brand, with its most recent collection entitled “Working Class Hero” by WHIZ…the photography is amazing, really emphasizes the pieces.

The newest limited edition G-Shock collabo with T.I.’s clothing brand Akoo will be available at select boutique stores starting mid-March. The design is inspired by Akoo’s own trademark colors: Purple representing royalty, Gold for power, and White to symbolize purity. Only 1000 will be available.

Seattle-based retailer Goods is teaming up with their friends over at Manik Skateboards for a special set of t-shirts in light of the unfortunate Haiti events. The designs will be offered through both Goods Seattle and Bellevue locations, with all proceeds being donated directly to Haiti. Good job!!
