Where to Go: My weekend started off at The Eldridge Thursday night…great music (as usual DJ Meldebarge) although the 7-foot giant wearing the cowboy hat and guarding the oil tycoon freaked us out a bit - and Hi John Legend. With my BFF Whitney visiting me from Cali, I had to take her to all my favorite spots… Or at least as many as we could fit into a couple days!

Friday started off with Ruby’s for a Chicken Bluey Sandwich (if you don’t know what that is, you’re are seriously missing out), next stop Rice To Riches…over 20 flavors are made fresh daily, my favorites are “understanding vanilla” and “take me to tiramisu”, but they’re all good seriously!

Where to Go: The Eldridge still remains one of my favorite lounge spots in the city…Behind the used-book store facade, Matt Levine keeps the feel sexy by combining great DJ’s with A-list events - the club features a hand-stamped golden floor with customized golden flakes, chocolate chesterfield leather banquettes, exposed brick and the highlight of the venue is the Armand de Brignac champagne wall, valued at over $650,000! There’s only enough space for about 150 people, but you never know if you’ll run into guests like Donald Trump, Lydia Hearst, or his purple majesty himself, Prince…

Item of the Week: I’m slightly obsessing over these Ted Rossi cuffs…using a mix of python leathers, pearls, and Swarovski crystals, they are only available for pre-order and will ship in 3-4 weeks. Prices range from $215 - $350 - ouch!!

I love that Bally is starting to make a comeback… A timeless brand, they’ve stepped it up with this one…The bag is a pouchy style with a flat bottom, so it’s more structured than you might think. It is composed of patchwork triangles of honey leather, structured handles trimmed with whipstitching and gold hardware details including a Bally chain and logo charm. Intermix is having a 40% off designer sale (which ends tomorrow btw), so I had to run down and buy this (got the last one from the store on Fifth Ave). Yesssss!
