The perfect complement to your bulky DSLR, Leica’s V-Lux 20 takes all the features you’ll ever need, combines them with stunning design and high-quality pictures, all in a compact package perfect for any situation. It’s no secret that when it comes to looks, there isn’t anything on the market that beats that vintage-inspired aesthetic of Leica; a timeless look that’ll satisfy the harshest critic. Yet this isn’t like the girls you pick up in the clubs, the V-Lux 20 has some serious brains inside that gorgeous case: high-performance 12x Super-zoom Leica DC-Vario-Elmar lens with a focal range from 25 -300 mm, ergonomically-positioned controls, 12.1 effective megapixel sensor, 720p HD movie recording, and integrated GPS tagging functionality to go with all the regular standard features you expect. Definitely an interesting option for the design-savvy amateur photographer.

Available in May at Leica dealers worldwide.

Here is a possible second coming of Banksy in the Bay Area on Valencia Street in San Francisco. Making reference to his Cop with Koons Dog stencil in LA that was recently stolen, this makes for the second city out of three in which his film was premiered in the States…

Fox & Freeze - FF1 Chair

If there was ever a material making a comeback as of late it’s definitely Felt. Not only does it have a great look, it’s structural properties are extremely interesting; lightweight, sturdy, malleable -all things designers typically drool over. Belgian design-duo James Van Vossel and Tom de Vrieze, through their creative coop Fox & Freeze, have created an ingenious indoor lounge chair set to rival the Fat Boy you’ve got in your living room. Made from a single square sheet of synthetic felt, the FF1 Chair is entirely self-supporting, with only a flax rope added for aesthetic purposes. Surprisingly sturdy, the twisting of the felt flows together to create the seat & base.

The Graffiti Mask sunglasses feature an all glass frame, fluorescent acetate nose pad and end tips with the Louis Vuitton engraved graffiti signature on the temple. Dope!

Coca-Cola Light has teamed up with one of my favorite designers, Karl Lagerfeld to design a limited edition box set! “The designer affixes his style and his famous silhouette on the bottle and delivers an exclusive creation with chic lines and also a unique box in limited edition, accompanied with a bottle-opener discreetly hidden in a drawer.” The aluminum bottle and box set is currently available for pre-order at colette for about US$81. LOVES!!

Erykah exposing it all….

Posted by Jen Yu | Posted on 30-03-2010

Symbolism:
The sister is shedding her superficial layers. Exposing herself to the world. Facilitating her own evolution. She is assassinated at the end only to raise again in her EVOLVED STATE. This is also a reference to the John F. Kennedy assassination. Erykah falls at the same spot, where JFK was shot, except it’s on the sidewalk. When the camera turns after she’s down, you can see the the “X’ on the street. That “X” markes where Kennedy was shot in the car. Reference also goes for the title “Window Seat”, the video intro and the “Group think” speculations about the assassination.
